Amanda Lancour graduated from the University Wisconsin Oshkosh and attended the New England School of Photography, Boston, Massachusetts.

Prior to graduation, out of many applicants, obtained freelance assisting work at a catalog studio. Lancour navigated her way around the Fox Valley area as an assistant at catalog and advertising studios. Her last experience brought her to Milwaukee to work at a huge cutting edge, natural light, strobe and green Advertising studio.

Lancour has taught continuing education classes to photography students at Fox Valley Tech as well as a week long summer workshop at the University Wisconsin Oshkosh. She finds teaching challenging and her students inspirational.

These opportunities have given Lancour an elevated knowledge of studio and location lighting. Experienced working with over fifty five photographers as an assistant and as a photographer, on location and in studio as well as countless creative directors and stylists from Chicago, New York, L.A., Colorado, Milwaukee, and Madison, her creativity and technical skills have been finely tuned. Feeling there is always more to learn she is constantly searching the internet, magazine, art galleries and the world around her for imagery to feed her hungry creative eye.

Recently relocated from Milwaukee to New York City Lancour left wonderful and talented people and is rebuilding her team of stylist, assistants and clients.
